I'm so thankful for all she does while she's here. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, helping with T... but she's also good for my soul. It's been a VERY hard few weeks and just having her here has kept me sane.
We went to see Mother's Day on Monday.. it was so fun - we had the theater all to ourselves. I kept yelling "SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Quiet down back there" at no one... and we giggled.
Last night we had Ruth Ann over for dinner. She and my mom are such buddies. They go to lunch together and act like the oldest of friends. I just love my mother-in-law, she's just so funny and so awesome and treats me like I am her daughter... not just her DIL!
Tristan has no idea how lucky he is to have both of his Grandma's (Bebah) and his Grandpa's (Bumpa) - it's a blessing for sure. They watch him play soccer and he loved showing off. Then he came in and sang and danced for them - too cute for sure!
Soon enough, it was bedtime. Bath was done, teeth were brushed. Story time... and I just sat, loving Tristan listening so intently and hugging his Grammy tight. They have a special bond that I'm thankful for!
See you in July Grammy. I can't wait to get back to NY, it's been waaaaay too long!
