Sonny time!!

Weeks ago, we met Anna.  She has a ministry called Myrna and Me.  Anna created this so she and her kids could have a relationship with someone locally that didn't have family because Ann's family lived so far away.

After hearing all about it, meeting Anna and Myrna we decided to sign up and see if anyone was a fit for our family.  It's not a huge commitment, just once a month (or as much as you want).

We got Sonny and we LOVE him!!  We spent over an hour with him yesterday.  First meetings are a little awkward... but he was SO sweet and genuine.  It's interesting getting a 7 year old active and involved in the conversation but we mentioned sports and it was game on!!

Tristan and Sonny were fast friends and I quickly noted that I would soon be the shortest person in the room.

I have no idea where God is taking this friendship but I'm thankful that we get to spend some time with someone new.  We can learn and grow and serve and hopefully brighten his day!

Now to talk him into playing BINGO with me!!!
